Marketing Expertise
HOW I COACH
Below are some of my favorite projects focused on sharing B2B marketing expertise and insights with others.
Research
I conducted a research project to help B2B marketers in the packaging industry compare their marketing strategies with those of peers (separately researched end user buying journey as well). I developed the questions, executed surveying (Alchemer, formerly SurveyGizmo) and shared my findings in a series of reports.
Newsletters
I wrote and oversaw the design of a series of print newsletters that focused on best practices for using trade media, ways to boost campaign performance and new media group product offerings. The newsletters were distributed to key advertising decision makers by direct mail and prior to events at booth drops.
Web Articles
I regularly wrote articles for pmmimediagroup.com. Topics ranged from optimizing pre-roll video to questions marketers should ask when using third-party audiences. Below is an article discussing common mistakes around product launches. (Additional articles are at pmmimediagroup.com/marketing-insights.)
Speaking
People learn in different ways, and sometimes the best content experiences feel like a conversation. With this in mind, I’m a frequent marketing speaker. I enjoy sharing insights on latest trends and media innovations. Below is a sample of a slide deck I used for a webinar on “Best Practices for Driving Web Traffic.”
Column
In my quarterly column for OEM Magazine, I regularly discussed ways manufacturers could boost campaign performance and overcome common marketing challenges, such as poor lead generation or struggles with developing the right creative. Below is a sample where I coached PACK EXPO exhibitors about post-show preparations.
